Privacy Policy
Last updated 20 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data FEINT Studio collects when you use feint.uk, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We are the data controller for that information.
We are based in Brighton, United Kingdom, and handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you complete the contact form we collect your name, email address, and optionally your company name, budget range and the content of your message. We ask for this so we can reply to your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site: pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived. IP anonymisation is enabled, so your full IP address is not stored by Google Analytics.
If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. The site works exactly the same either way.
Booking a call
Our booking widget is provided by Calendly. If you use it, the information you enter is processed by Calendly under their privacy policy.
Cookies
We use two kinds of cookie, and only one of them requires your consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Strictly necessary. Keeps your session and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | Session |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics. Measures how the site is used. Only set if you accept analytics. | Up to 2 years |
Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, and is asked again after twelve months. You can change or withdraw it at any time using in the footer of any page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.
Our lawful basis
- Consent for analytics cookies. You may withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interests for replying to an enquiry you send us, and for keeping the site secure and working.
How long we keep it
- Contact enquiries: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Analytics data: retained by Google for up to 14 months.
- Session cookies: removed when you close your browser.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. It is processed on our behalf by our hosting provider (Hostinger) and, where you have consented or chosen to use them, Google Analytics and Calendly. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, protected by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- ask us to transfer it to another provider;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done beforehand.
To exercise any of these, email hello@feintstudio.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are protected against cross-site request forgery, and the admin area is restricted to named Google accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will ask for your consent again.
